Beware of booking a birthday party!
Infinite Air的点评
点评：We have been regulars to Infinite Air for years and are familiar with their party rooms so we decided to book my son’s birthday party there this year.
When we arrived we were shown to our ‘party room’ only to find they had given us an ‘area’ attached to the main room. No doors etc. The area looked less inviting than an office meeting room.
It had no lights unless someone walked in so it looked dark and dingy and actually scary to little ones, yet this is where our small guests were meant to go to get a drink etc. It wasn’t a secure place to leave gifts, cards and money etc for the birthday child.
The normal party rooms were private and had doors, constant light, TVs with happy birthday tunes, branding on the walls. They looked happy and inviting unlike ours. There was a TV in our ‘area’ so I asked if they could at least put the birthday stuff on like the other rooms to make it a little more inviting. They said they were unable to because it had been broken for months and they were in the process of getting a replacement! Months! I questioned why this was taking so long because you can get a TV whenever you want. She said they have had no maintenance person for a couple of weeks as he had been on holiday. I expressed my concern that if they knew all of this they could have at least got some decorations for the walls to make it more inviting.
When it came to have the food it wasn’t very relaxing because it was so loud. We couldn’t turn the lights off to sing ‘happy birthday’ because we were near an exit door and the lights were only automatic. You couldn’t actually hear the happy birthday song as you had all of the noise from the main room. My partner actually ended up with a migraine and so on our son’s birthday had to go straight to bed. There was also a random child wandering in while his parents did nothing which wouldn’t have happened in a proper party room.
We also had a number of autistic children in our party so a quiet room where anyone could go if overwhelmed was what we had wanted. I explained this to the staff but it didn’t make a difference. They wouldn’t move us to the party room that wasn’t yet in use for the day despite it being big enough.
Basically they have put their own greed over providing a good experience for the customer by passing this off as a party room. I have never seen such an uninviting party room in my life. To think I paid the same as the other people having a party there and ended up with this is very frustrating. I was offered 25% back which I took but it doesn’t change the experience. If I knew that was what I was getting, regardless of price, I would have went elsewhere. They will lose more money from us in the long run as each time we go we pay over £30 for the hour but we will now go to one of the other trampoline parks.
If you book a party you may get a nice room but you may also get what we got so if this would bother you please think twice or contact them in advance to express your concerns. I wanted to make people aware this may happen so they can make an informed decision if they want to hold their party at Infinite Air. I have included the photos of what our small child turned up to compared to what we expected and others were given.
