点评:Honestly, the best thing about this museum is the building itself. Considering how impressive it looks from the outside, you imagine it will be just as astonishing on the inside. The truth is that this is a very small museum. I went to see the Ferdinand Holder exhibition, one of my favorite painters, and wasn't too excited about it. Many paintings very quite small and just not very interesting. They do have a few interesting pieces as part of their permanent collection, but it's very modest. I was particularly annoyed when I spotted some paintings by Kirchner, one of my absolute favorite painters. But as I rushed up to them I realized they were by a guy named Hermann Scherer, apparently a friend and student of Kirchner's, and very obviously a copy-cat. So that was a letdown. I also have to agree with others who criticized the security people. There are way too many, and they do watch you a bit too intently. Overall, not a very memorable experience, and I probably won't be back. I had a discount, but even so the price of admission is outrageous for what you get (yes, even for Swiss standards).
