Too bad the restaurant is Awful

点评：How sad that the restaurant is so awful.
The view from the roof of the restaurant is spectacular.
So we had hoped to sit on the roof top, but were told it was a 40 minute wait. There was at least 8 empty tables, but no problem. We opted for the regular dining room and bar. We had high hopes. What a great space, lots of windows and views.
So the dining room at most had 8-10 patrons and maybe 5 people at the bar.
Wow! This was without a doubt one of the worst meals I and we have ever had. The service was so disjointed. Our server was very nice but there was a disconnect with her and the bartender. One of our party had to go to the bar and ask for the beer he had ordered. We had waited about 10 minutes. The bartender didn't have a clue. Oh and the Happy Hour Gin and Tonics were basically tonic on ice. I get it, but come on. Except for the first drinks, the Tonics with lime, we had to wait much to long for the rest.
So the food....we ordered Calamari as an app. I asked about the fact that the menu mentioned onions on them. We were told they were basically onion rings! Umm, ok.
The calamari came pretty quick and it was tasteless, oh except for the old grease flavor. Onions and calamari tasted the same. Old grease.
I then took a chance and ordered the $16 Soft Shell Crab sandwich. Mistake. The bun, tomatoes and lettuce were fresh looking. The crab & the fries again were flavorless except for the same distinct old grease flavor. I was super disappointed.
One of the others ordered a fish sandwich, he said was okay. He ate 1/2. Couldn't eat the old grease flavored fries. The 3rd in our group ordered the $26 steak dinner. He said the steak was decent. The mashed potatoes were awful. Looked like a pile of old gravy. The salad was at best a bag salad, So couldn't be but so bad.
Really sad and disappointed. We will definitely not return.
