Theaterplatz的点评
点评：Theaterplatz in Dresden , definitely a must see when you are in Dresden - it is one of those spots that can't be missed when you are visiting the city of Dresden.
Now the majority in these buildings that can be seen today were damaged in the (useless) air raid of 1945 - I will spare you the details, those interested can see documentaries , read books and articles about the firestorm that was raging here in Feb 1945 - however, everything got repaired and restored here in the years after the war and today it shining in its true beauty.
In the Theaterplatz you will find several well known landmarks of the city to mention a few: Zwinger, Semper Opera, The Hofkirche, Dresden Castle ... you can find the rest of the "interesting" spots by yourself - but be sure that there are some more than the short list I've put together.
When in Dresden it is pretty much not possible to miss the Theaterplatz.
