Beautiful roses, but shockingly rude treatment from the owner
Brindabella Country Garden的点评
点评:As I parked the car, opened my driver door, and stepped one foot out with a smile on my face—excited to finally be at the very rose supplier I had bought from previously—a grumpy old man was very quick to meet me with an abrupt "we're CLOSED."
Even after explaining that we had driven 2.5 hours on the understanding they were open Sundays until 1pm (it was only 11.45am), he abruptly responded, "That’s Google, we can't control what Google says. We are online only except for tours," then proceeded to walk to the gated area and wait for us to leave before abruptly shutting the gate behind us.
For the record, business owners do have complete control over their Google profiles—claiming otherwise just highlights a glaring level of ignorance or laziness. Their website also urgently needs work to ensure people don't keep turning up in person hoping to catch a glimpse of their roses.
An absolutely atrocious and appalling way to treat visitors in the area for the flower festival. We happily went on to spend our hard-earned dollars at a neighbouring business instead!
I also noted other negative reviews about people turning up expecting it to be open and greeted by locked gates; in hindsight, I would have preferred that to the outright rudeness from the owner.
You've lost at least one loyal customer and I will not be continuing to recommend to friends again!
