Good people, once in a lifetime experience

点评：I took my family of 6 (5 riding, 1 non rider) out for my daughters birthday. We were a slightly different reservation as my 8 year old son is autistic. We explained our situation to Pete (the owner I believe) and he was understanding and we were able to devise a plan that if my autistic son was not able to handle the beach ride, him and his dad would stay behind with the second handler and he would have shorter pony rides at the starting point while the rest of us rode. Fortunately, my son was able to safely stay on his horse and completed the beach ride. Pete allowed us to make the accommodations we needed for us to have him ride safely and kept us together for the experience and my daughters birthday. As the parents of a special needs child, it’s difficult to find companies that will exercise the compassion and understanding needed to listen to us and to make reasonable accommodations (which were minir and safe). My 7year old daughter had the “best day of her life” and it was made possible simply because this company cared enough to listen and accommodate our requests (that we’re safe for our son and horses). Even if my son wouldn’t of been able to complete the ride, the fact that the opportunity was given would have earned my business over and over. The ride itself was outstanding. It was very much like a beautiful scene out of a movie. The beach was beautiful. The staff was personable, professional and outstanding all around. They managed to get us out with FOUR kids and a special need and they managed it all in stride. The horses were friendly and this was the highlight of our trip. I’m sending my friends here for the experience and will go again every time we visit Galveston. Not only will you have the time of your life but this company has good people at the helm, they’ll take care of you and there isn’t a company on the island more deserving of your business.
