Eastco Tanzania Safari, Kilimanjaro trek and Uganda Gorilla trek

点评：We had an amazing first safari with Eastco and our brilliant guide Wilson. David was helpful and responsive to messages when we got in touch to discuss our ideas for our month-long trip to Tanzania, which included a 10 day safari, 8 day Kilimanjaro trek, and 4 days in Zanzibar. He developed a personalised itinerary which was tailored to our wishes, including options for accommodation and activities. He was happy to adjust plans when we changed our dates to ensure the best viewing for the great migration. We also added on a trip to see the Gorillas in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and David happily organised this for us – this was one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely recommend it.
Wilson was a great safari guide who we would highly recommend – he was extremely knowledgeable and eager to ensure that we had a great holiday and saw a wide variety of wildlife. He is amazing at spotting animals from a distance!
We did have a small hiccup when we first arrived in Arusha as we were informed that two of our accommodation choices for the trip had been changed. We found out that this was as they had either recently closed down or moved locations. David had dutifully arranged for alternative accommodation to ensure we could still go ahead with our planned itinerary. Our only issue was the lack of communication about this, but it was resolved quickly.
Our Kilimanjaro trek was led by Godfrey with his assistant John who I would also highly recommend – they were friendly and very experienced guides, and along with their team of porters really looked after us throughout the trip. They ensured we had a successful trek and managed to make it to the summit.
If you’re looking at booking a safari or other adventure holiday in the East African region we would definitely recommend Eastco.
