Spectacular view to the tower and a lovely walk around the base

点评：This is a very popular trail, so if possible get here early or later to avoid the "peak visit" time. We arrived before 10 am, waited a little bit down the hill to get up to the parking lot to park. The trail is a loop of 1.6 miles. We took our sweet time and spent 2 hours doing this, stopped a number of time.
It is completely paved, however, will have a lot of ups and downs and uneven spots. We especially enjoyed the boulder field, kind of makes you think not a place to linger if another "slide" happens! We also stopped to watch several climbers descending from the top. Be sure to bring your binoculars for a close up look.
There are a number of view points you can walk to, that extends the view. During our visit, it was a blue sky clear day so you could see quite a distance out. This is one of the most enjoyable hike for us on this trip.
