点评：If you're the kind of person who likes a big venue, with lots of lights, comfy seats and a bar with seats to relax in prior to the gig, then go to G-Live in Guildford.
If you like being inches from the band, crushed in with everyone else and feeling the music pulsate through you, the Boiler Room is for you.
Yes, it gets mind-meltingly hot on a hot summer evening, but the staff will do what they can to alleviate that.
Basically, The Boiler Room is the kind of grass roots venue that proper acts should be getting access to and honing their skills before making it big and going to places like G-Live (or, God forbid, the O2!) instead.
There are always some new bands or singers appearing, along with acts you remember from the past (One memorable visit was for Electric 6 - Incredible!) and tribute acts for the bands you wished you'd seen or who you could never afford to (or maybe want to) go and see at venues where you're in a different postcode!
Not for everyone, but if you'll love it, if that's your thing!
I'll be back many more times, for sure!
