Excellent experience, friendly service, warm water
State Dock Marina的点评
点评：We researched several boat rentals while in the area, close to both Dale Hollow Lake and Lake Cumberland. We ended up choosing State Dock because of the quality of their pontoons, price point, and other reviews of their service. It did not disappoint!
The rental starts with Kenzie, who is incredibly kind and knowledgeable! My husband gas driven boats for years, but the tutorial she provided would have been helpful for even novice boat drivers. She went over the map of the lake and pointed out highlights of the different areas (e.g. cliff jumping, places to coast and float or swim). Having never been to the area before, this was key information and gave us a good feel for what to expect.
She made sure we had everything we needed before we left and even offered to take a family picture for us. Sometimes getting out the door, with everything needed and a large family, can result in some grumpiness and her kindness helped shake off any remaining negativity. 🤣
The lake itself was warm, with several areas to safely tube away from other boaters, places to stop and swim or float. We did not take the pontoon to 76 waterfalls, but had seen it from a trail two days before and it would have been a beautiful place to visit on the water, too. We were having so much fun nearer the marina that we did not feel the need to go further. Maybe for another trip!
