点评：We gave this visit a 2 mostly because of the bad approach to an average looking cave visit. The personnel we interacted with were very nice and informative. The walk down to the cave entrance and back up is very scenic with beautiful views of the valley, various wild flowers and even a beautiful waterfall. The entrance to the cave is impressive with the spiderweb gate. The walk to the cave entrance is not strenuous since it is downhill, but the walk down is at least 20 stories and you do have to walk back. Be mindful of the steep drop offs along the path. The steps are spread out so you are not walking down steps continuously. Take it easy on your way up and stop as often as you want to catch your breath! A marble cave is not that much different from a limestone cave. The caves/caverns in the East are more impressive. Definitely not a wow factor. Very little of the cave is shown to the public. If you are visiting Sequoia Parks just for a day, skip the cave tour as the time commitment is approximately 3 hours. There are better places and things to see in the park and spend your time. Even though the tour is advertised as 50 minutes, what you are shown on the tour will take less than half an hour. On several occasions we saw our guide looking at his watch, then he would start talking. It was very obvious that he was just killing time, making sure we actually spent 50 minutes in the cave. It's about a 20-25 minute drive to the cave on a narrow, winding, often poorly maintained, pothole ridden road. Fortunately on our way down we did not have much oncoming traffic, so did not have to worry much about vehicles surprising us around the narrow bends on the road.
