Great trip with Dhana!

点评：I traveled around Sri Lanka for a week with Dhana as my driver and guide. From the moment he picked me up at the airport I felt safe and in good hands. He knows so much about the country and always had interesting little stories to share along the way.
The car rides were long sometime, which was unavoidable with my intended schedule, but he always drove calmly and carefully, and made sure we stopped for snacks, fruit or a tea break. It never felt rushed.
Some of the highlights for me were the safari in Yala (we saw elephants, crocodiles, and even the rare black necked stork), climbing Little Adam’s Peak and Pidurangala Rock, visiting the Dambulla Cave Temples and the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, and feeding Kiri, the giant squirrel, at the final hotel in the jungle. He also arranged a fun cooking class in Ella which I really enjoyed.
What I appreciated most is that Dhana is flexible and thoughtful: when I hurt my toe, he immediately adjusted the plan so I could still enjoy the day. In the evenings we sometimes shared a meal or a drink and had nice conversations, which made the trip feel more personal.
All in all, I’d definitely recommend Dhana if you want a reliable driver and guide who makes your trip smooth, safe and memorable.
