Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark的点评
点评：We visited over New Years and I was a little nervous after seeing so many poor reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. Yes the place could use a good clean and vacuum but overall it was great. We stayed in an older room on the 2nd floor and my only concern was the beds weren’t super comfortable, they sagged in the middle which wasn’t great but still tolerable for only 2 nights. It was loud especially where our room was located and because the New Year’s party was right outside but we anticipated that and were still able to sleep. I could see it being annoying for a light sleeper.
The waterpark was awesome, the lazy river was a little chilly at first but they keep the place warm enough you get used to it quickly. There’s a limited number of tubes but people were good about sharing them so we never waited too long when we wanted one. Same with chairs, we were able to find a spot to put our stuff whenever we needed.
The two arcades were a big hit with our 8 year old daughter, a decent variety of games to play.
The breakfast place was underwhelming for the price. And we visited Hurricane’s on New Years and though it wasn’t busy the service was slow. The food was decent, the drinks were overpriced and also underwhelming. I would skip it next time. There’s a bunch of other great restaurants nearby.
Overall, it was a great spot for a quick family getaway and I would definitely visit again.
