A pleasant experience especially if you are into cowboy clothes & boots

点评：I was looking for cowboy boots and cowboy boots I found. Two pairs, very nice, very inexpensive. Also bought two beautiful Made in Mexico cowboy shirts. We walked along the whole length of main street including some of the alleys but we ended up making most of our purchases in the shopping mall situated at the entrance of Zona Piel. It seems to me that the shops in the mall are a bit more upmarket with better quality merchandise (a few shops have double locations, both in the mall and on the street). There is a fairly good choice of cowboy boots overall in Zona Piel, but nothing like you find in specialised stores in the States; then, again, prices are really competitive compared to the US or Europe. Expect no assistance from the salespeople, you are mostly on your own and I was really surprised that in most shops they had no idea how to convert Mexican sizes to US and European ones, so buying a gift for someone is a bit of a challenge. Also, bring your own large shopping bag, we were given flimsy garbage bags for all of our purchases! The rest of the leather goods on offer (regular shoes, bags, jackets, wallets, sleeveless biker stuff and, unfortunately, belts) are mostly on the cheap and gaudy side. Couldn't find a single belt to fall in love with... There is a huge selection of Mexican cowboy hats, though, and very competitively priced as well. A great if cumbersome present. The whole area is safe and pleasant and shopkeepers will leave you alone to browse without pestering you, which is appreciable. Overall: would recommend a visit.
