Byrkley Garden Centre的点评
点评：It had been a few years since visiting this particular garden centre and I’d remembered it being a pleasant garden centre. I wanted to treat my Dad for Father’s Day, so I suggested going.
We arrived at around 12.30 on Saturday and headed for the restaurant, it wasn’t very busy at this time. We chose a table and picked from the menu.
I ordered 2x extra hot lattes, but when I I got back to my seat, one had to be returned as it was cold. On returning the coffee, I overheard a gentleman ask, how long the wait was for sandwiches, to which he was advised, 15 mins.
We sat and waited for our food for 40 mins, during this time we noticed that tables that had arrived after us, were actually being served before us. I then asked a member of staff if she could see where our order was. She returned very apologetically saying that there was a 45 minute wait, but ours was priority (obviously this had not been the case, as I’d heard 15) We waited a further 10 mins as majority of the order came, only to find the pot of gravy was cold and needed to be returned, the tuna & cheese toastie was also cold, (but we didn’t bother returning as we didn’t want to wait again)
It was so disappointing. The garden centre was quite over priced and some of the plants didn’t look the best. The ‘reduced items’ were dead!
The clothes and gifts section were good.
On the basis of this we wouldn’t return as there are better garden centres around.

我们坐着等了40分钟，期间我们注意到，比我们晚到的桌位，其实比我们先上菜。于是我问一位工作人员，她能不能看看我们点的菜在哪儿。她非常抱歉地回来了，说要等45分钟，但我们是优先的（显然情况并非如此，我听说是15分钟）。我们又等了10分钟，大部分菜都来了，结果发现肉汁已经凉了，需要退回去，金枪鱼奶酪吐司也凉了（但我们不想再等了，所以就没再退回去了）。
真是太令人失望了。园艺中心的价格太高了，有些植物看起来也不好看。“减价商品”都卖光了！
服装和礼品区还不错。
因此，我们不会再来了，因为周围有更好的园艺中心。
