点评:Before today I has never had a bad experience at Byrkley garden centre, and only had good things to say even recommending it to friends and family, However, agter today I don't think I will be as I was throughly disappointed by the level of customer service I had received.
The two drinks we usally get from the the cafe weren't as good as they have been but the young waiter Rohella I believe his name was a standout. I had a look around the gardenc entre and picked up a few items even though they hadn't got the plants I was after.
The reason for this review was the service I recieved when paying for these items. The cashier was named Sue, shebwas very friendly and warm with the customers before me but as I approched the counter, I recieved no greeting or acknowledgement and had to say "Hello", Sues demeanour didn't improve at all, I had recieved a voucher for some free bulbs which runs out in the 29th Sept but when i asked to redeem these, Sue's response was very dismissive "No we don't have any" took the voucher without any further explanation she then told me the price and placed a calander on the table before turning away and leaving the counter.
Sues overall attitude and lack of customer service was very unwelcoming and was the sole reason I got tocthe car park and decided to return the items. When I returned them Sue was called over to process the return and her first words to me were "Oh, you don't want them,then?" In a very condescending tone. When I explained to her the reason for me returning the items was the poor service from here, she refused to take any accountability telling me she didnt believe she was rude and even doubled down on this and claimed I was the problem.
This exeperice was really disappointing as I have always had a postive experience here before and has left me questioning if I will return, especially with other garden centre close by.
