Schodack Island State Park的点评
点评：We’ve stayed here twice. First time was overnight (2025) and this year (June 2026) we went for 1 week.
It’s a quiet campground regardless which loop you are in. VERY spacious sites and clusters of trees in between each site makes it very private. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere.
I’ve seen reviews where people thought it was very loud because of trains. I could see that if you’re in a tent, but in an RV, I could barely hear it.
I’m extremely picky on public bathhouses because I’m a heart transplant patient and need it clean. I tried to utilize as much as possible due to no sewer hook up and there for a week. I didn’t want to pack things up to go to the dump station.
Showers were clean, but I still wore flip flops. Push levers showers require 3-4 cycles to get hot water. Sometimes I got hot water and sometimes not.
Firewood available at rangers station.
Boat launch and picnic facilities available. Bike path was nice. 1/2 mile of unpaved path and some off path trails. Beware of ticks. Also bike riding g along the road in the park from loop to loop.
