点评：Had a recent holiday at 254 Marina Real, Duquesa booked via Duquesa estates.They ignored an email advising we had issues with the apartment so we went to the office in reference the various issues but initially mentioned the noise levels from music played at The Place. We were told by a disinterested member of staff that we should have realised it would be noisy from the marketing photos. I’m confused as to how we could possibly have known that the night would bring window rattling levels of noise until 2pmmost nights just because we could see a bar/cafe. Advice regarding the noise would have been the obvious way to let customers know what they were letting themselves in for. We would have booked another location had this been made clear. I didn’t bother chasing the other issues as it was clear they don’t care once customers have paid.
The apartment is in bad need of a refurbishment and repair. The sofa is disgusting, covered in stains. The plates and saucepans in the cupboard had food still attached. There are damp patches and this morning bits of skirting fell on the floor. One set of shutters, needed to reduce noise levels, does not work, one patio door doesn’t open and the back one doesn’t lock. The dish washer does not wash properly and we had to hand wash everything.
