California Memorial Stadium的点评
点评：Decided last minute to attend an evening Cal game while on vacation in San Francisco. It was easy to get to the game via BART to downtown Berkeley, but didn’t realize we would not be ‘going back the way we came’. Thanks to some friendly folks we were able to figure out the transfer to get back. No extra trains on ‘event days’. Great team store a few blocks down from the station to pick up some Cal Bears merch on the way to the game.
It was an uphill walk to the stadium through a beautiful campus, but with lots of atmosphere (friendly fans and marching bands). Food and drink carts were all around the concourse with decent lines before game time; super crowded and long lines during the game as expected. Family enjoyed the hot dogs and pink lemonade!
We liked walking down into the stadium instead of up, though bench style seating gets tough for a whole game. Great site lines and decent atmosphere for crowd size. Great family night out.
