Bathe in the Living Waters, no Mythosaurs seen
Kow Ata Underground Lake的点评
点评:A group of geologists and an expert diver went to this attraction late one afternoon. They had to open the gate for us as it was close to closing time. Some advice ahead of going:
1 - bring a headlamp/torch etc. There are lights but it's not well lit and you'll want to supplement and see where the lights don't shine to get the full experience.
2 - bring non-slip water shoes to descend the last bit into the water. The water level has been dropping making the entrance more difficult as it's dropping below where the stairs have been constructed.
3 - bring a large towel or prepare to be wet and wear wet clothes until you can ascend back out. After the first flight of stairs the cave was quite warm but it can get cold fast once you exit.
4 - there was a healthy sheen of cave scum on the water so we swept it away as we entered to avoid getting it on us. This requires diligence as it will creep back in if you aren't careful.
5 - practice low light photography. The pictures can be dramatic if you know how to shoot in low light. Modern phones have good setting to aid in this.
There was a cafe with food/drinks you could make this into a rest stop if you wanted. We were down/in/out within 30min
