点评:I initially was impressed with the reception and didn’t mind too much about the add on costs for gloves and a balaclava. It made sense for first timers. Still an add on though. The changes rooms smelled of dead people but again, sweaty environments so fair enough. The briefing was fascinating! The guy spoke as if on fast forward! Not a clue what he said!! My first session was stop start stop start, while other drivers received further instructions after hitting barriers etc. I duly raced around in circles for the remaining 9 minutes until we were pulled in. After a break we began the 2nd session and I immediately noticed that my kart had zero grip around corners. Even at the slowest possible speed it skidded. I was pulled into Pit and asked why I was breaking so much. And then advised “ah new tyres - no wonder”. I was left to rejoin the track. I did a further couple of circles and then volunteered myself to a Pit. It was a pointless exercise on those tyres. If there is such a wide difference in kart performance then what is the point? I have to say that when I mentioned it to staff they of course weren’t bothered. My guests DID enjoy their experience though so I’m likely just grumpy that I had a rogue kart!
