点评：I popped across to the amphitheater with the little one with the hope of avoiding the rain showers. I didn’t realise there was parking right next door to it until we walked down there, so parked in a nearby pay and display which was £2 for two hours (please upgrade to accepting card payments!).
It was a 5 minute walk from there to the amphitheater which strangely isn’t brilliantly signposted, though that might have been my ignorance with existing signage. Once there it’s a well maintained field with an amphitheater in it! It’s not wholly excavated but is a great little space for little ones to run around. Watch the steps down into it, and the partially excavated entrance to the right of the amphitheatre that might be hidden from view in long grass.
All in all a nice way to spend an hour!
