点评：Terrible road - you need a high SUV.
Water is clear, but lots of cigarette butts and dry seaweed on the shore and in the water near the shore. Bottom is unpleasantly muddy - like walking in quicksand. The beaches attract a very low level of mostly domestic turkish tourists, many of whom are simply messy and do not care a fig for the ( wonderful ) turkish natural environment.

Ayvalik and Cunda also have declined in attraction. Overcrowded with low level domestic turkish tourists...loud, smoking, messy. Day boats are a real nuisance, especially those which blast turkish "arabesque " music while working with overcrowded boats.
Don't be fooled by expensive fantasy tourism adverts on CNN, BBc. Tourism in turkish has been badly handled, sadly hurting one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
