Beautiful town with the best host you could ever wish for - Jessie

点评：We had a simply wonderful morning exploring Rethymno . Starting with Cretan coffee made in its traditional way on hot sand , complimented with delicious loukoumades, followed by a labyrinth of all sorts of pit stops from simply exquisite churches , musical instrument mending shops , vibrant fruit shops , mouthwatering bakeries, not to mention , architecture of every possible era . We finished in a gorgeous street with green foliage above , a plate of traditional Creten food and of course the obligatory raki.
It was all Devine . And the most Devine think - was our host Jessie ! What an incredible source of knowledge she has. She wove a tale of the city over the centuries and we were all spell bound by her stories, her depth of fascinating information. She was great fun, very charismatic, thoughtful, generous and beyond our expectations of what we were expecting from a host . She really was first class. Our only tiny tiny criticism would be , it might have been a bit more heavy on the food . A glass of wine and a touch more food at the end Was the only thing missing - just as it was a fairly expensive tour . However having said that - it was worth every penny of Jessie’s time !
