点评:I have stayed in many priority lounges around the world and this is without a doubt the worst.
It was like aeroplane food served at a cheap all-inclusive hotel.
The quality of the food was awful.
The quality of the choice was awful.
Lots of very dry nasty pastries wrapped up in individual plastic packaging, Juices in a dispenser machine, coffee in paper cups, the only hot option was a very thin ugly soup.
Other than that, it was cold salad, most of it clearly out of a tin or a jar. And some pretty stale little rolls.
Absolutely everything was in horrible little packaging.
No alcoholic drinks (with Amex card)
But worse than anything, the staff were so incredibly rude. I’d popped for 1 minute to check on a delay and was shouted out when I walked back and asked to queue up again and then barked at that that I only had 1.40 hour left on the 3 hour limit before I would have to leave immediately. Humiliating and unnecessary.
A group of people next to me were trying to work out a severe delay on their flight, they weren’t eating or drinking. They were just sitting on a seat but because they passed the 3 hours maximum after to asking for a few minutes let way to finish a call to the airline, about four people came and stood in a circle around them and asked them to leave. it was very intimidating for them, especially as it was a couple of elderly people and there’s no WiFi at the rest of the airport.
I’ve spent quite a lot of time in Turkey and I’ve never experienced such rudeness and bad customer service.
Dalaman is an extremely expensive airport. I recommend just bringing some food and snack with you next time and spending your money on a drink.
