点评：Our family did the Mount Hope Waterfall adventure. We were collected from our accommodation and travelled about 90 minutes in the open back of a truck (fitted out with comfy seats). Our guide Basil was so friendly and talked to us about the various trees and food plants along the way. We learnt so much from Basil. On arrival at the river we were fitted with life jackets, and Basil made sure we made it safely down the steep path before jumping into the river. It was a gentle float down a chilly river, interspersed with small rapids, before a climb up the waterfall, again with help from Basil and Sinook. We shared a snack platter stage top of the waterfall before a 20 minute walk back to the waiting truck. This was a fun, family friendly experience, but probably not for really young kids. Our 11 year old was a little worried through sone of the rapids when he had difficulty steering with his arms.
