Lots of owls!
Fritton Owl Sanctuary的点评
点评：We were on holiday at the nearby Haven Wild Duck and my partner overheard a family talking about this owl sanctuary. Knowing how much I loved owls he looked online to see how far it was, found it was very near and so we decided to visit.
The place is right next to a garden centre and flea market so as well as looking at the owls you can do some shopping if you wish (we found lots of little gifts to buy!).
The sanctuary itself is really good. It is free but you can give donations if you wish. There are a lot of owls there, more than I expected actually, and they all looked like they are well taken care of. A couple of young ladies were walking round with an owl each, you can hold one if you want to for £5. They were very knowledgeable and told us lots of information about the owls. I think the first lady told us that they look after 40 at the sanctuary! There is also a very cheeky parrot on site that is able to talk. My children spent ages saying hello to it and it was just looking at them doing nothing. As soon as we walked away it shouted hello 😆.
Overall this is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
