Phong Nha Explorer的点评
点评：We booked a 2 day 1 night tour with Phong Nha Explorer. I would NOT recommend this travel agency to anyone. They told us we would be in a group with 12-14 people max, but we were in a 20+ person group. They also didn’t tell us our hotel until we asked for the information. We didn’t follow the itinerary they provided for us. The itinerary says day 1 is Paradise Cave and Mooc Spring, and day 2 is Phong Nha Cave, Chay River, and Dark Cave. On the first day, we were picked up by a different travel agency (not Phong Nha Explorer) who took us to Paradise Cave and Dark Cave. On the second day, Phong Nha Explorer planned to take us to Mooc Spring and Phong Nha Cave. They were never going to take us to Chay River.
The parts of Phong Nha National Park we saw were more like a theme park than a national park. We went to Dark Cave, where there were so many people walking through a narrow passage. There were band-aids in the mud bath. The helmet I got did not ratchet down to fit my head. The zipline has a very hard landing, even for people well within the weight limit.
Because the river was flooding on the second day, they took us to the Botanical Garden instead of Mooc Spring, and the afternoon activity (Phong Nha Cave) was cancelled. We were only given 100K VND (7.65 USD) per person for a refund. The entire tour cost 2.7M VND. This tour is a waste of money.
