点评：Dunbar Town House Museum & Gallery is a delightful little stop right in the heart of the town. It’s not a large museum, but it offers a surprisingly rich introduction to the history, culture, and identity of Dunbar.
The exhibitions are well-presented, covering everything from Dunbar’s fishing heritage to local stories, old artifacts, and rotating art displays. I especially enjoyed reading about the town’s historical development and how the local community shaped it over time. The museum also has a small gallery space with changing art exhibitions, which adds variety depending on when you visit.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they were happy to explain some of the background stories behind the exhibits. Even though the museum is compact, the layout makes it easy to explore without feeling crowded.
One of the highlights is the building itself — a restored historic townhouse that adds character to the whole experience. The architecture feels authentically Scottish and makes for great photos.
