Filthy, empty and unfriendly!
Mayá - Lost Mayan Kingdom的点评
点评：This place was an absolute disaster!
We were super excited to check it out after seeing videos and photos online. We were soooo disappointed.
We didn’t buy tickets ahead of time. We did the short ~10-15 minute walk from the cruise ship and upon arrival found no line, which was odd. We asked if it was busy, and the unfriendly lady at the door said it was pretty full. We went in and were 3 of maybe 25 visible visitors in the entire park. Had we known it was creepily empty before we went in, we probably would have decided against it.
Costa Maya is a port city, so all of the attractions are basically for cruise passengers. This is a water park. Basically the entirety of their clientele is not coming from home. For the exorbitant prices they charge, there should be access to towel service, towels for purchase, or at MINIMUM at note on the website that you have to bring them.
(I already didn’t want to even go in at this point, but the boys really did.)
The boys were interested in the slides and I was interested in the lazy river. The lazy river was absolutely FILTHY. Instead of clear water, it was cloudy, with spots of dirt piles clearly visible on the bottom throughout. There was debris floating throughout. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months!
The boys did a walk thru and we were literally back at the entrance 10 minutes later getting a refund.
There were some other people leaving disappointed at the same time who had booked thru the cruise ship. I felt bad, because they most likely had no recourse for getting their money back.
The only cool part was the look of the inside of the pyramid, which has the stairs for the slides.

孩子们对滑梯感兴趣，我对漂流河感兴趣。漂流河脏得要命。河水不是清澈的，而是浑浊的，河底到处都清晰可见堆积的泥土。河面上漂浮着各种杂物。看起来好像好几个月都没清理过了！
孩子们进去走了一圈，我们10分钟后就回到了入口，拿到了退款。
当时还有一些通过游轮预订的游客失望地离开了。我感到很难过，因为他们很可能已经拿不到退款了。
唯一好看的是金字塔内部的样子，那里有通往滑梯的楼梯。
天哪，别浪费你的时间和金钱了！
