点评：We went to Rainbow Mountain on our last day in Cusco. Roberto called the night before to confirm all the details and arranged to pick us up at our hotel.
The trip went smoothly with Roberto handing all the driving as well as guiding us. He made sure we were comfortable with the hike and it turned out easier than we expected.
It was nice to arrive very early at Rainbow Mountain to avoid the crowds. We were one of the first ones up the mountain and back to Cusco by 2:30 pm. Roberto even took us directly to the airport for our evening flight.
Rainbow Mountain is a good day trip from Cusco after doing the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu. We stopped for a breakfast buffet on the way there and a lunch buffet on the way home so didn’t need any additional food other than water, sunscreen and warm clothes. The trail had ice in the morning and you are eye level with glaciers on top.
Roberto speaks excellent English and gave us a lot of information on the drive and the hike. He made sure to answer any questions, including any we had from earlier in our travels.
