点评：I have no regrets with booking Evolution Treks for my 4-day Inca Trail and suggest everyone books them when considering their tour group! Evolution Treks coordinated my airport pickup, and hotel pickup and drop-off in Cusco seamlessly. The team was easily able to communicate via WhatsApp prior to the trip to ensure we all knew what to expect from start to finish.
The trek is challenging with significant ascending and descending on days 2-4, and our guide Marco and Nicolas' team of chefs and porters were attentive and always put our safety and comfort first. From ensuring we had the best locations for lunch and camping, we always were able to rest and prepare for the next day as the team made us comfortable at camp. Our Machu Picchu experience was wonderful with insightful information and knowledge provided on our tour to cap off our experience on the last day.
I was thankful to book with Evolution Treks because not all tour groups on the trail take their employees health and safety into consideration. Our porters and chefs were outfitted with the best gear available to them, from properly supported and sized backpacks, to the proper hiking boots allowing them to hike quickly and always be a step ahead of the clients. Not all tour groups take their porters' safety and comfort into consideration and from carrying overly heavy loads to not having proper places to sleep, you know that Evolution Treks will treat their teams properly. Along with treating porters and chefs fairly, Evolution Treks support women working on the trail and we had multiple female porters as part of our team who were phenomenal additions to the group.
If the pictures do not convince you enough, please let my review be enough to convince you to book your tours with Evolution Treks! Thank you again to Nicolas and team for the most amazing food prepared for us on the trail. I will remember all of our meals and time together for many years to come.
