Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol City Football Club的点评
点评：We attended Ashton Gate as away supporters (QPR). We approached the stadium from the away end and first impressions were underwhelming (probably the same as visitors think about our stadium!). There is one small bar and a food stall outside.
We walked around to the front of the stadium and it was much better around there. The area outside the stadium (to the left) has a wide range of food and drink stalls and a bar, which I assume is supposed to be for home supporters!
The stadium itself is a good size with uninterrupted views, the stands are a nice distance from the pitch, unlike in some bigger/modern grounds where you feel miles away from the action.
The facilities for away supporters are very basic. The concourse is wide but there are only 2 small kiosks. I had a soft drink with a steak and ale pie which was dry, bland and overpriced. The ladies toilets are old and tatty, dread to think what the male ones are like. The atmosphere from the home supporters was non existent, but we made up for it in the away end with a 2-1 win!
