点评：Georgi Benkovski House Museum is one of the museum-houses built in revival-style located in the historical center of Koprivshtitsa, a little town in the center of Bulgaria, where the Bulgarian uprising against the Ottomans took place in 1876. It is dedicated to Georgia Benkovski, one of the 12 apostles (chairmans), who dediced the moment of the uprising. In fact, he was in another little town called Panagyurishte and he was killed by the Ottomans, when they fled from them. In the museum, you can learn about him, the history of the uprising and see a decoration from the revival period. Very interesting. Also, in the entrance you can see a statue of him and in the surroundings, you can visit a big statue of him riding a horse. Very emotive.
It is very recommended to buy a full ticket to visit all museum-houses in revival-style in the town, each one explains about different people, who were important in this period.
