Rare Stalk to Fork Weekend- A totally unique experience

点评：Such a fun and unique experience a friend and I did it for a 2nd time and came away with great memories and even more to learn.
Constantly being fed by a full time professional chef it gets the weekend off to a great start as you know how good things to come are going to taste. The fare is simple and clean but as fresh as it gets and absolutely divine. As someone driven by my stomach it was perfect.
Roughly it involves gun competency, then a 1 to 1 guided stalk, eating, night hunting for hare, morning stalk, skinning, butchering, and taking home the meat and other parts if you choose.
The 2nd time around we got to have a direct venison meat cut taste comparison, and slow cooked meat directly over fires.
What really stood out to me the most each time is the incredible staff to participants ratio (4 participants) and the amount of attention given by the guides. The weekend is constantly being adjusted based off our desires and needs with no pressure to shoot. Each guide has their own wealth of knowledge you can constantly be learning about whatever interests you. From professional cooking vs field cooking, deer biology and ecology and ethics, different styles of meat cuts, whisky distilleries, farm management and the state of UK farming (I was curious).
It is really about the entire weekend being out in nature, with nice tents which are setup already and a log burner keeping you warm. No showers and the toilet is a 5 minute walk if you choose not to use the bushes. It is a camping trip with friends but it can be as rough or not that rough of one.
Ad's, Jamie and the boys are incredible and while it is expensive it is worth every cent.

整个周末都置身于大自然中，舒适的帐篷已经搭建完毕，还有燃木炉为你保暖。没有淋浴设施，如果你不想在灌木丛里解决，厕所需要步行5分钟。这是一次和朋友们一起的露营之旅，但体验可能很艰苦，也可能很轻松。
