点评：We booked a 1/2 day elephant sanctuary experience with pick up from Hotel( more cost effective and eco friendlier) we got given full briefings what to expect, what to bring, who was collecting us and at what time. All was done so professionally.
We arrived and had introduction by Jimmy about the sanctuary very informative and lighthearted. We then were taken to the first station to help if wanted to wash elephants. Moved to next area to feed elephants and plenty of opportunities to take photos.
The elephants were relaxed and happy and loved to be given food and we helped making medicine for the older elephants. We then fed them with our mixture we had made.
We were shown the baby elephant and moved to an other part were a mother, stepmother and baby were grazing across the river. We observed them and after a while they crossed the river and we were given food to hand out.
When the elephants had enough they wandered off and we were brought back in the back of the pick up trucks through the area were the elephants graze. A beautiful experience and learned a lot. They are well looked after and I was told that when they set them free they returned as they don’t know how to live in the wild. So great to see this. Well done for keeping the experience real and safe.
