阿尔伯克基国际热气球节的点评
点评：Make sure you double check the weather conditions before heading out to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta as they often cancel the events scheduled if the wind or weather is not cooperating. Set your smartphone up with the app that will alert you if it is a green/yellow/or red light to go.
We chose the Park & Ride ticket at Cottonwood Mall, The very first bus for the mass ascension day was 4a.m. but plan to arrive around by 3:15a.m. or so as the bus line keeps building. The wait is actually not that bad as they start loading the buses around 3:50a.m.
It was worth to get up that early and see the Drone Light Show, Dawn Patrol Show, and the Mass Ascension. As soon as the sunrise happened, before we knew it, the balloons were all taking turns to rise up in the air and it was such an experience to be on the ground to witness all the colorful and whimsical hot air balloons that were in line to prepare for take-off . Plan to spend at least 4-5 hours here as the restroom and food lines can get long. There was also a line to get in the Gift Shop and there are various vendor stalls. It is best to walk around the grounds to see all the various hot air balloons lifting up as it happens so quickly. By around 10a.m., pretty much the majority of the hot air balloons were up in the air.
Definitely it is worth to visit the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta at least once in your life if you haven't had the opportunity!!
