点评:My review of the Bristol Renaissance Faire. It was not fun. The only good thing was that my son was with me and we persevered.. and that he got compliments on his cosplay.
1. Parking - I paid for VIP parking and there were NO SIGNS! We spent over an hour in various lines to be told, no this wasn't it with no directions besides "go further". E
2. Food/Drink - 30 minute lines to get something real to eat, even with multiple locations for food. The only things we were able to get in a timely fashion were a pretzel and a cookie. I was fully willing to pay $17 for a turkey leg but not to wait for half an hour for one.
3. Bathrooms - Since this is a full-time city with real buildings and not booths I was extremely disappointed to find only port-a-potties.
4. Immersion - It was so crowded that you couldn't enjoy any of the scenery or the cuteness of the buildings and such.
I've been to faires in Arizona and California and this one was a nightmare. To it's credit, from recent reviews it used to be nice and has gone downhill in the past years.
