点评：What a fantastic week and location to see a rodeo and enjoy food, entertainment, and behind the chutes tour to learn more about Rodeo. If you are new to rodeo, the free behind the chutes tour is very informative and you are able to walk in the arena and climb in the bucking chutes, and walk next to the rough stock, and see how well the stock is taken care of and see how the veterinarian checks on the stock frequently.
I think the sellout crowd for rodeo was 15,500 tickets, and sellout for the concert was 25,000. Get here early for the good street parking, and take part in the Indian Village, the great food vendors, as well as the vendor trade show under the grandstand as well as the trade show in the building behind the grand stand.
Kudos to the CFD team of workers and volunteers and visitors to make this the Daddy of them all in Rodeo world. Ticket prices are fair, plenty of concessions, great selection of seats.
Kyle Shobe does a great job announcing and keeping the crowd informed on what is going on with the hows and whys. The grandstand announcer Garret Yerigan does a great job announcing the rodeo and keeping it interesting.
Best tip is to attend on semifinal Saturday and finals Sunday. Finals sunday is some of the best rodeo you will ever see.
