点评：I think its fair to say that Download is what you make of it, I have been to Download for the past 3 years (Rookies numbers compared to the number of Download veterans) and every year has been great. 2
024 was a VERY wet and miserable one, but as long as you come prepared then you have nothing to worry about. Yes the sunshine does make everything better but me and my group had a quality time with plenty of memories made and laughs had. 2023 and 2022 were two completely different experiences as the weather was STUNNING. 2023 was absolutely scorching which just like when its Drownload, as long as you come prepared for the weather then you have nothing to worry about.
If you are camping, I highly recommend arriving on the Wednesday as finding a spot to camp can be savage. In 2022 me and my friend arrived on the Wednesday and struggled for a spot. We had to settle for a space between two camps and after a few hours we got chatting to one of our neighbours and we ended up spending the whole festival with them and their group. Since 2022 we have all stayed in touch and went to DL 23 and 24 all together which has been great.
Download is a VERY friendly place where everyone feels like one big family, there is always plenty to do in the village and main arena but its also just as fun walking through the camps and seeing what hyjinx the other campers are up too 😂
Highly recommend Download if you're based in the UK or if you are from overseas and what to make the trip.
There is more to Download than the lineup (Yes its a huge selling point and of course it'll be a better experience if their are a good number of bands there who you like/know) and I highly recommend at least trying it one year!
