点评:Trams on the Friday were constant from St Kilda/Toorak Road up to gates 7-10 though when leaving we ended up walking a few blocks as they were so overcrowded with massive lines. Friday we sat in the Waite Grandstand which ended up being a good choice with quite a bit of action on this corner. Right behind it was the car displays and large food area with a large toilet area as well.
Saturday and Sunday we were on the general admission passes entering at Gate 5 which is quieter but brought chairs and a blanket with us, got there very early as gates opened and had a great view on the back straight near the Button stand. View was unobstructed by others as we were sitting in front of the fence.
Lines for food varied depending on the time we went and what was on track, some times were very short waits and others quite long. Toilet queues were long but moved very fast so no issues there either.
We had a good time this year compared to 2022 with the addition of the F2 and F3 to the program. When we went last and will try to make it an annual visit.
