A memorable experience
F1 - Italian Grand Prix的点评
点评：Four of us (adults) attended all three days of the 2025 Italian GP. We were seated in Sector 26 Tribuna Laterale Destra (covered grandstand with plastic seats opposite the Mercedes and Ferrari garages with a great view of the podium). It was my eleventh GP over almost 30 years (six of them outside the UK) and my second time to Monza (2014). Overall experience was amazing, ranking up there as probably my best ever F1 experience. OK, so the actual race wasn't that exciting (after the first 10 minutes or so, although the F2 race on Sunday morning was one of the best I've seen) and it was crazy busy all weekend (compared with my experience from 2014 when F1 wasn't as popular). Yes, the food and drink queues were chaotic and poorly organised (according to my daughter and her partner, I didn't partake during the weekend) and it had rained heavily Thursday evening resulting in a mud bath in some pedestrian areas on the Friday...but this is Italy and it's F1. As expected, the entry queues each morning (we arrived at the circuit about 9am each morning) were fairly long but were very well organised and moved quickly, far better organised than at some GPs I've attended. But what really made it memorable is the passion and atmosphere throughout the entire weekend. It was just incredible. Sat in a Ferrari supporters' grandstand really was something to be experienced (we wore McLaren t-shirts!). An amazing atmosphere. No trouble at all, just loads of friendly people full of passion for their team. We joined in with the podium celebrations on the track after the race and then stayed there milling about with other fans for over an hour after the race, then had a beer from one of the outlets, then walked back to our car still taking in the atmosphere. Well done Monza circuit for addressing criticism from recent years and making improvements. We will return.
