点评：Recently spent a couple nights in Stuttgart and enjoyed the annual Christmas Markets held during Advent (Lat Nov to 23 Dec). The market is centred around Schlossplatz, Schillerplatz and Marktplatz. We also found smaller setups in locations like Kartlsplatz as well. Stall opening hours 11am until late each day.
The Stuttgarter Weihnachtsmarkt is one of the oldest in Europe having started in 1692. It is also considered one of the most beautiful. Each year, there is a contest for best decorated stall so they go out out with making them very attractive, photogenic and entertaining to see.
You'll find your expected range of local and seasonal foods, sweets, snacks and drinks. Plenty of gluhwein throughout the markets. Many stalls also sell Christmas ornaments, decorations and other seasonal and winter items. We also enjoyed seeing the large scale Xmas Pyramids, Ferris Wheel, large scale model train setup and child friendly features at the Christmas Market.
