点评:We got there at 9am on Tuesday, knowing we had a boat to catch from the port at 10am into the Amazon. Unfortunately the museum is closed on Monday when we hoped to go!
We still really enjoyed our 50 minutes there. Total of 3 floors, so we started at the top and worked our way down. The signs are all in spanish and very good quality english. Mostly decorated pottery with patterns and the rollers that made the patterns, plus painted. Some were funeral urns, but also lots of pots to use for preparing meals, eating, etc.
Also on the lowest floor is a section on some axes, including ceremonial axes that were too soft to actually use.
Fascinating bit of Ecuador history. Many of the pots are shaped as humans, some with "clapping" hands!!!
It was only $3 each, and easily covered in only 45 minutes if that's all you have, even with more time available, I think an hour would be enough to see everything quickly.
