Truly incredible experience
Sahara Relax的点评
点评：We had a truly memorable experience with our Sahara Relax tour and private guide, Mohamed, on a 3-day, 2-night journey to Erg Chigaga. The long drive was thoughtfully broken up with optional stops—ranging from coffee breaks to quality local shops and visits to small villages—that gave us a more immersive glimpse into Moroccan culture.
Mohamed was a skilled and efficient driver, which allowed us to make the most of each day without early starts or feeling rushed. His pacing meant we arrived at each destination relaxed and with plenty of time to explore. His deep knowledge of the region—especially the desert, where he previously worked as a camel guide—was clear, and we felt completely safe, even during the more adventurous parts of the journey.
It was also evident that Mohamed is well-known and respected in the area—he was often greeted by friends and acquaintances. While this did lead to a fair number of phone calls during the drive, it offered insight into the connected and communal nature of life in the region, adding another layer to the experience.
At the Chigaga camp, we were warmly welcomed by Edir, whose genuine hospitality, unforgettable smile, and lovely conversation made us feel instantly at home. Waking up to tranquil views of the sand dunes was something we’ll never forget, and the sunset camel ride through the dunes was magical. We were also happy to see how respectfully the nomads treated their camels.
We’re grateful for the memories and would recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic desert adventure with a knowledgeable local guide.
