点评：Been a customer here for over 20 years. I used the driving range weekly during the off season and have spent countless £££ here over the decades on clubs, balls, lessons and equipment. I bought my most recent set of clubs from the pro shop here 2 summers a go. A few months ago I needed my 5 iron re-shafted which I paid the shop to do (around £70). They said it would take a few days, which turned into weeks. Initially I didn't think anything of this. Eventually it was ready and I collected it and took it straight out for a round of 18. Through the round I noticed the club head was at an angle and there was a gap between the head and shaft with adhesive coming out. I took it back to the pro shop a few days later to show them expecting them to fix it but they said I had broken the shaft since they had replaced it. I explained that I had noticed the defect hours after they had re-shafted it whilst playing a round. They responded that it must have broke in my car. Pure fabricated lies. I drive a Porsche Cayman where my clubs have to sit upright in the front seat so this was impossible. Furthermore I have never broken a shaft in my car. This would also mean out of the 15 clubs I have in my bag the only one that broke was the one they re-shafted. And within 24 hours of the service. What are the chances of that?? The only shaft to have ever broken in my car happened to be the one they fixed the same day. I don't think so. Such a blatant error on their behalf. Every other pro shop in the country would have fixed the issue for a loyal customer of over 20 years. I haven't been back since. Still have credit on my range card which won't be used. None of my golf circle have been back. I used to recommend this place to new golfers. Never again. Money comes first here, not their loyal customers.
