Don’t go, will ruin your visit to Tanzania

点评：I am still processing what just happened to me and my fiance in this village. Our tour guide asked us if we wanted to come and I said sure why no? Mistake! Do not go without being ready to get ripped off.
To e entrance fee was 80 USD for the both of us which I thought was quite expensive but I thought listen it’s a long way here we can support the community. I should have known better when I saw one of the guides with a massive watch but anyway… after a welcoming dance, fire demonstration and the inside of a house. After that they show us the little market and they asked me to choose what I wanted to buy however they would not give me the price until the end. 3 tiny painted plates were 100 USD and I said it was too much and I received a speech that it was not a sale but a support for the community. I have never felt so hopeless in my life. It was not really a way out since they separate you from your partner or group to negotiate. After that we went to the school were children sang and read the alphabet. I also had to leave a donation. Please don’t go. Will ruin your experience in Tanzania. Maybe there are other villages you can visit instead of this scam.
