点评:On the way from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou ( and return), will pass through Die Xi Lake. Normally, tour buses will stop here for toilet, shopping for winter clothes, food stuffs and souvenirs. Be aware that you will need to pay RMB 1 yuan for toilet that is primitive i.e you have to do your No. 1 and No.: 2 on a ditch/street drain/longkang (malay word) open air with no doors. There are row of these typed of toilets form left to right. You can imagine the smell.
Opposite the shop/bus stop, is the lake which was formed due to an earthquake and landslides that buried the original DieXi town as explained by our Chinese tour guide, Xiao Long.
For RMB10, you can take picture of the animal YAKS/ Maoniu. The YAKs is so flurry and depending of the owner of the YAKS, you can groomed the yaks but be careful as they can be quite temperamental.
