Kasbah Boulaouane的点评
点评：This was a hard destination to get to when we went but utterly worth it. They have now improved the road and it's a lot easier now. About 20 kilometres from the kasbah turning off the El Jadida to Settat road, the way got progressively more difficult culminating in a six kilometer, bone shaking ride along a potholed and single track road. But it was worth it. Rounding a corner, the kasbah comes into view and it's a magnificent sight.
Getting nearby, it's clear that there have been some pretty extensive restoration works done on the front walls and also on structures inside. Once these have become weathered they will fit in with the older ruins.
The bowab asks for 20 dirhams per person. This is unofficial, of course, as entry is free in reality. He's actually quite useful as he can point out features not obvious to a casual visitor.
We spent a couple of hours here and we were glad to have taken the long journey down from El Jadida.
