I had the privilege of learning from Bashir Bhai, whose patience, expertise, and commitment truly set him apart . He didn’t just teach me how to ski—he instilled in me the integrity of the sport. From perfecting my stance to guiding me on which technique to use for different types of snow / slopes. Even while going down the slopes, he stayed right behind me, providing real-time corrections and encouragement, ensuring I felt confident and in control.
One thing that stood out on the slopes was seeing many tourists fall into scams with untrained guides, which was disheartening.
